Now that Obama has won
Hope for the New Year
Has become real
Since this president takes into consideration
How all of the american people feel
Not just the privileged and rich
Not just a chosen few
But all his brothers and sisters
Every class, race, religion and creed
It is time for a change
We the people have planted
The seed
This is the president that must do
The right thing for all the people in need
Obama has won
It feels great to see
Nobody thought it would ever happen
All I can say is
it’s about time
This is
what can be accomplished when you
Use your mind.
