Winter is here
snow is falling down
hanging on the trees
laying blankets all around
little animal footprints
kids on sleighs
making snow angels
skating away
everywhere you look
you see a childs smile
an a twinkle in their eyes
for this beautiful white wonder
they've found
winter is here
people are busy running too an fro
hanging pretty lights
singing silent night
kissing under mistletoe
baby Jesus is away in a manger
protecting us from any danger
carolers out and having fun
bringing good will and cheer
and many little babies being born
on this New Years
say a prayer
give your thanks
bless each and every soul
turn up your heat and be warm
thank God you have a stove
winter is here
it's really pretty but cold
give gifts from your heart
bring food, shelter an warmth
to those in need
donate your time and money
remember the true meaning of christmas
has nothing to do with toys, comercials or greed
take some time to give instead of get
do a good deed and spread some holiday cheer
that's what everybody needs
winter is here
this is the time to be thoughtful
generous and kind
get together with family and friends
let the love, hope, wonder an joy never end
sing,laugh, be merry and have a good time
winter is here
but only for a short time.

When we march
in our parade
we march
side by side
hand in hand
waving our
rainbow pride
fathers, mothers
sisters, brothers
daughters & sons
united together
cute little tomboy
take a look inside
reclaim your pride
hold your head high
come march to our music
help us fight for what is fair
all people need to unite
to show that they really care
we march for justice
we march for a change
we march for those that have
been violently taken away
we hold on to whats real
expressing how we think
talking about how we feel
so come and march with us
socialize, sing our songs
find your connection
make a difference
dare to be strong
when we march
in our parade.

Right from the start
I was born with
a heart full of poetic art
words flow randomly
from pen to paper
the power of the pen
has been my savior
where to begin
I count my blessings
for my gift lies within
the power of the pen
in troubled times
I call upon
the power of the pen
it resides within
I never knew writing
how I feel
what I see & experience
or conceal
would set me free
a heart full of poetic art
that's me
when I become inspired
the mood strikes me
to write a poem
for a friend
they may be feeling all alone
or bummed out
like no one cares about them
in times of need
I call uponthe power of the pen
it dwells within
i just want to cheer them up

give them words of power
take away their fears

My beautiful friends
Make me laugh
Sometimes they make me cry
Most of the time they make me
Wanna lose my mind
Usually they are pretty amusing
We have been working here so long
That all of our minds we will be losing
It’s good to have friends in the same boat
Working together to keep it afloat
They have given so much to me
I don’t know how to explain it

Who needs fancy cars and loads of money
When I’ve got my beautiful friends
With big hearts who are mighty funny
First there is Ann aka Glenda aka goober
Then there is April aka shorty aka meanness
Last but certainly not least there is
Christina aka lamb chop aka ding dong
With friends like these how can I go wrong
Ya know I’m writing this poem
Cuz in my heart y’all have a permanent home

gliding in the sky

glare like the wolf
and see the good inside
may you run
like the rabbit
wild and free
be as strong as
brother bear
live your life in peace
standing up for what's fair

Pollution,dirty politics,
war,blood,greed
good 'ol president Bush
makin' it worse than it needs to be
I pray to God it dont happen again
to put him back in office a third time

I've got bills to pay
I've got things to say
mountains to move
trees to save
who says it can't
all be done in a day
I'm pushing myself
to the limit anyway
when corporate powers talk
smart people walk
I know small things add up
in a big way
greed leads so may astray
corporations leading
making money at any cost
buying consumers minds
selling everything from
tv comercials to land mines
America is Bleeding
the rich are succeeding
hard times keep repeating
one step forward
is like 2 steps back
got to get it together
read about the facts
